CANAAN   FARMERS   HALL

The mission of the Canaan Farmers Hall is to renovate and restore the former Grange Hall building to its historical and architectural standing and to establish new links to both our farming community and the general community. Though the building is in amazingly good shape, it needs work on its windows, walls, floors, doors and heating system to keep it from deteriorating. We also hope to modernize the building and make it handicap accessible. We need to re-establish a bond with farmers of all interests: dairy, animals, crops, forest products, grain, and hay, on both small and large scales, to keep our agricultural heritage alive.
